About.com has a review of a second-hand
Epiphone Les Paul Standard Flame Top right here.
There’s nothing new in it for those of us who love our Epi Les Pauls already, but if you’re trying to decide whether or not to buy one, it’s worth reading.
Epiphone has launched its latest signature guitar, the Zakk Wylde ZV Custom. It’s unique body shape combines what Epiphone calls “two of the most distinguishable guitar shapes” into one body by taking the top half of an SG and the bottom of a Flying V and sticking putting them together.
The company describes the guitar as having an “aggressive look like no other” with ‘extreme attitude” and I wouldn’t disagree.
The Epiphone Riviera P93 is the latest version of the classic Epiphone semi-hollow body electric guitar to hit stores.
As its name suggests, the Riviera P93 features three ‘dog-ear’ single coil P-90 pick-ups. It also has a gorgeous Bigsby trem and tailpiece. The Bigsby, along with the polyurethane finish and gold hardware make this one good-looking guitar.

Here, courtesy of About.com are some tabs and mp3s of BB King licks in the key of G.
Have fun.

Steve has posted an excellent and comprehensive history of the guitar in two parts over at Guitar 24/7. If you’re at all interested in the beginnings of the guitar and in particular how the first electric guitar was developed, it’s well worth checking out.
Steve does a great job of detailing the work done by George [...]
Epiphone’s brand new blog has an exciting post about a new Epiphone guitar which is coming soon. “We’ve been hard at work around here on an awesome new model that we are REALLY excited about!” There are some pics on the blog. Hard to say what it is from those. But it’s electric, it’s got black pick-up covers and what looks like a silver pickguard. From the look of the fretboard inlays, it could be a signature model or some sort of special edition.
In other news, only four days to go until the Slash Les Paul Gold Top hits the shops. Woohoo! Get your credit card ready.
