Epiphone Casino to tour Australia with Paul Weller

Well-known Epiphone Casino player and former Jam and Style Council front man, Paul Weller, has announced his first tour dates in Australia. Weller, who is currently playing dates in the UK and is about to release his ninth studio album, 22 Dreams, will play five dates Down Under.

He starts in Perth on August 13, then travels to Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney, before finishing up in Brisbane on August 23. Tickets go on sale on May 27.

Weller’s forthcoming album has been described rather excitedly as ‘a kaleidoscopic tour de force incorporating rock, funk, soul, free jazz, krautrock, classical, spoken word, electronica and all stops in between.’ It was recorded at Weller’s Black Barn Studios in Surrey and produced by Weller and Simon Dine. It features guest appearances from Oasis’ Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer, as well as Ocean Colour Scene’s Steve Craddock and ex-Blur guitarist Graham Coxon.
